EnergyNet- A Division of Hopkinsville Electric System
EnergyNet is a division of Hopkinsville Electric System (HES), which is the not-for-profit public power system of the city of Hopkinsville. The primary goal of HES and EnergyNet is to serve the residents and businesses of Hopkinsville with quality electric and broadband services.
Since its origins of providing dialup internet service, EnergyNet has significantly upgraded the internet connectivity it is able to offer in Hopkinsville. EnergyNet has recently deployed a wireless mesh network throughout Hopkinsville to provide the residents and businesses of Hopkinsville with affordable, broadband internet service. EnergyNet also serves the majority of Hopkinsville businesses and industries with a fiber optic broadband network with connection speeds up to 1 gigabyte. Finally, the recently completed Data Center offers local business and industrial customers a world class collocation facility for housing vital data and network hardware.
