EnergyNet's new Network Operations Center (NOC) is now open to local and regional business customers seeking a place to relocate their primary or secondary computer network equipment. In November of 2006, the decision was made to deepen the level of support that EnergyNet was able to offer its business customers by constructing a world-class colocation facility. In February of 2008, the facility was dedicated, starting a new era of services offered by EnergyNet.

The new facility was designed from the ground up to be a state-of-the-art colocation facility. The electrical feed into the facility is conditioned by a Liebert UPS and surge suppression system. These systems are further backed up by a Caterpillar diesel generator. This "always on" power is supplied to each cabinet by dual electrical feeds.

Dual Liebert N+1 environmental control systems maintain optimal temperature within the facility. An HFC-125 system is used for fire suppression, providing exceptional equipment protection. Advanced construction techniques were utilized to all the facility to withstand tornados and earthquakes.

Customers who choose to locate equipment inside the facility are provided coded key fobs, allowing 24 hour access to their equipment. The entire facility is also protected by a video monitoring system.

EnergyNet worked hard to create this ideal environment for critical network equipment and data. An open invitation to tour the facility is extended to anyone interested in locating equipment within the facility.
